The MNS low-voltage withdrawable switchgear is a modular, factory-assembled, metal-enclosed power distribution equipment designed for rated voltages up to 690V and rated frequencies of 50Hz or 60Hz. Modular and Flexible Construction
The cabinet frame is assembled from C-shaped steel sections with E=25mm modular holes, allowing flexible combination of functional units. The modular design enables easy reconfiguration and future expansion. Standardized components ensure interchangeability and simplified maintenance.
Withdrawable Functional Units
The switchgear features withdrawable drawer units with three distinct positions including connection position, test position, and isolation position. Each position is mechanically interlocked with the main switch, and a padlock can be applied on the operating handle to prevent operational errors.
Compact and Space-Saving Design
The compact design accommodates more functional units in a smaller footprint. Single cabinets can accommodate up to 36 drawer units, with an effective installation space of 72E, where E equals 25mm modular increments.
High Safety and Reliability
The cabinet is divided into four separate compartments including the main busbar compartment, drawer compartment, cable compartment, and auxiliary compartment. Compartments are separated by steel plates or high-strength flame-retardant functional barriers to prevent fault propagation.
Versatile Functional Unit Options
The switchgear supports multiple functional unit types including 8E/4, 8E/2, 8E, 16E, and 24E drawer units. Various functional unit configurations including feeder units, motor control units, and variable speed drive units can be mixed within the same cabinet.
Advanced Busbar System
The main and branch busbars are made of high-conductivity electrolytic copper with silver-plated connections for low contact resistance. The busbar system is protected by high-strength flame-retardant plastic functional barriers for enhanced arc fault protection.
Intelligent Monitoring and Communication
Optional smart monitoring systems with integrated digital meters, protection relays, and communication modules are available. Standard communication protocols including Modbus, Profibus, and IEC 61850 enable seamless integration with SCADA and building automation systems.
High Environmental Adaptability
The enclosure is available with protection ratings from IP30 to IP54, suitable for various indoor environments. The cabinet design has been verified through rigorous testing including seismic testing at intensity 9, arc fault testing at 100kA per 0.5 seconds, salt spray testing for 96 hours, and high-altitude testing up to 4000 meters.
